Capsule Whales was founded in the UK in 2024 with a clear belief: modern living should be smarter, simpler, and better connected.
We began with modular capsule homes, bringing together contemporary design, comfort, quality, and efficient use of space. Our focus was on adaptable living spaces for the UK and European markets, shaped around the needs of each project.
As our work progressed, our vision expanded. Modern living depends on the home and the infrastructure supporting everyday life. Energy, water, wastewater, monitoring, and smart controls need to work together.
This thinking became the foundation for Capsule OS.
HOMES AND SYSTEMS, PLANNED TOGETHER
Capsule OS brings housing and its supporting systems into one integrated approach. By planning homes and infrastructure together from the beginning, we give developers, landowners, operators, and project partners a more coordinated framework for modular developments.
Our work spans private living, garden annexes, holiday accommodation, hospitality, eco-resorts, modular communities, and off-grid projects. From a single capsule to a larger development, we shape each solution around the site, its purpose, and its long-term requirements.
OUR APPROACH
Every project starts with understanding how the space will be used.
We work closely with our manufacturing network, technology providers, and project partners to adapt layouts, specifications, finishes, and systems. Comfort, functionality, flexibility, and long-term performance guide these decisions.
We consider the home alongside the infrastructure needed to support daily life. This approach helps connect decisions about living spaces with decisions about energy, water, wastewater, and operation.
Clear communication and close collaboration support our work, from understanding initial requirements to agreeing the details of each project.
OUR MISSION
Make modular living simpler, smarter, and more connected.
We bring homes and essential systems together, with practical design, efficient use of space, and comfort at the centre of our approach. Our goal is to help create places which are easier to deploy, efficient to operate, and suited to the people who use them.
OUR VISION
Homes, infrastructure, and technology working together as one connected system.
Our ambition extends beyond individual homes to well-planned modular communities.
We aim to support greater independence, resilient infrastructure, and better everyday living through a coordinated approach to housing and essential services.
OUR VALUES
Quality, thoughtful design, and responsible use of resources guide our work.
We value lasting partnerships, clear communication, and strong local relationships. We listen to buyers, project partners, and operators to understand their needs and make practical decisions.
Our responsibility extends to the communities around our projects. We aim to support meaningful local initiatives and contribute positively wherever Capsule Whales operates.
Capsule Whales began with modular homes. Today, our vision brings the home and the systems around it together.
LIVE SMART.
